Temporary Speed Restriction Signs

[edit]

The pictures of the TSR signs are wrong. All three should have a yellow background. Could someone please amend them? Thanks. 90.240.16.13 19:05, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Other than the above, this is a lovely little upgrade for this page.

Thanks to whoever did that. Worley-d 21:01, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've amended the two images in question. Signalhead 00:17, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to be a pain - but is theer any chance of changing the layout of the signal images, so that the images are under each section, instead of horitontally going down the page, where it gets a bit confusing trying to match up the information to the picture.. UK_railway_signalling

[edit]

perhaps it should be considered if this page should merge in with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UK_railway_signalling UK_railway_signalling. They both cover the same topic, though in different ways. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.184.30.135 (talk) 14:55, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

random question ---

[edit]

But what does the "Right Away" (RA) signal mentioned under the repeater signal section mean? Is it as it appears a prodding finger to get the engineer to move off immediately? 77.102.101.220 (talk) 22:52, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's an indication to the driver that station duties are complete and the train may depart.–Signalhead < T > 23:00, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

UK Railway Signalling TSS:

What is TSS in Railway Signalling. What is the Function of the TSS? And Where it will be used. At what distance it should be used? Srinath.V.V (talk) 11:53, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article on the Train Protection & Warning System tells you what you need to know. –Signalhead < T > 15:56, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
